Increase on IBI on Murcia Town Hall for year 2012
Due to the economical current situation, the administrations try, not only to save money, reducing their expenses, but increasing their collections too.
With regards to Murcia Town Hall, the town councillor, Mrs. Isabel Martínez Conesa, announced past week, among other measures, the increase of the tax rate for the Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles (IBI) in a 0,03%; changing from 0,69% to 0,72%.
Murcia Town Hall expects to collect a total amount near 4 millions of Euros.
This increase will affect the owners, whose properties depend on Murcia Town Hall and will come into effect next January 2012.
Therefore, since this date, the owners will notice a light increase in their IBI receipts.
