Lack of Law on the Murcia Region for the Swimming Pools on the Community of Owners
One of the main lack of law that the Communities of Owners of the Murcia Region have is the absence of a regulation of safety in the swimming pools.
The Región de Murcia is currently regulated by the Rules of the Régimen Técnico Sanitario of swimming pools from Murcia, 1989, replaced by the Decree 58/1992. The problem is that the swimming pools belonging to Communities of Owners are excluded of their scope.
The Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia affirmed six years ago that they wanted to reform that Rule to extend the legal coverage to swimming pools belonging to Owners Communities that exceed a number of residents.
The problem that they have found is that the “Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia” is still awaiting the reform to be approved at state level from the Ministerio de Sanidad, and this is still in draft form.
It would seem logical to think that the Administration must give priority to this issue, at regional or state level, due to the fact that the absence of regulation is an extremely important matter.
